The blending of forbidden spiritual knowledge with technology could explain why technological progress often coincided with moral and societal upheaval, leading to a deeper discussion on whether these advancements were entirely benevolent or driven by darker, hidden forces. ReflectionMy perspective on the patriarchs of science, whether modern or ancient, is similar to how I view religious individuals. The key difference is that those committed to religious work glorify their god through their discoveries and theories, while scientists glorify themselves and "The Universe," as if they claim ownership of the part they unravel for mankind. My issue with this is that, while I respect the hard work and dedication in their craft, I firmly believe that current and future theories predate humanity. These truths don't belong to anyone; they exist independently and have already been proven, facilitating the universe’s operation as intended. For instance, the world was never geocentric because our calculations suggested it, nor is it heliocentric now solely due to our current observations. Science, in essence, is: "Here is what we know so far—until the next smart person proves otherwise," especially when it comes to cosmic theories. Given humanity's well-known flaws, it’s natural for me to question our theories and seek a deeper understanding. These flaws include making mistakes, lying for personal gain, attachment to one's theory that breeds bias, corruption influenced by politics, prejudice toward certain groups, and more. Such imperfections inevitably affect some of our scientific conclusions. I see a parallel between scientists working through equations to prove theories about the universe and religious individuals poring over scripture to gain divine revelation. Pythagoreans, for example, sought knowledge from their god, Apollo, through mathematical equations. While modern science dismisses such spiritual ideas, I still believe these influences exist. The same forces that impacted ancient scholars continue to affect modern scientists. Those who delve deeply into these matters might attract spirits or entities with the knowledge they seek, and depending on whom they please, these beings reveal secrets to them. The individual then takes all the glory for the discovery. Similarly, one does not need to be religious, but by living a righteous life, they may please God and receive blessings. I believe the same principle applies to science. Modern scientists do not need to actively engage in spiritual practices or hold specific beliefs to follow a path similar to ancient scholars and receive scientific insights. Their curiosity alone can lead to revelations from sources that already possess the knowledge they seek. Many refer to this as inspiration, though the origin of that inspiration is often subjective and difficult to trace unless the individual explicitly reveals that meditation or ancient texts played a role in their discovery. By understanding these practices, we can potentially trace their origins and identify the forces that may have influenced the individual. While discovering theories that explain how our universe operates is impressive, they still do not answer the deeper questions of who or what put these systems in place and why they function as they do. If one believes we are merely cosmic accidents, then it is possible to imagine waking up tomorrow with Jupiter at the center of our solar system. Although this idea might seem absurd and many would offer logical reasons against it—such as the fact that no one has observed Jupiter at the center before—we must remember that, under this view, even the Sun’s central position is an accident. The so-called laws of physics are not mandates the universe must follow but mathematical principles that describe its behavior on both macroscopic and microscopic levels. Given the chaotic nature of space, we can never draw absolute conclusions because humanity had no role in the creation of planets or stars, nor do we control their movements. We merely observe and describe what we see mathematically, and if no one has observed it before, it becomes a new discovery. My true interest lies in understanding who is responsible for the existence of these planets and who governs their movements. Imagine I hid a needle in a haystack that covered the state of Texas. The area of Texas is about 268,597 square miles. Now, if someone could search 1 square meter per second, they would cover around 86,400 square meters per day. Considering Texas's area in square meters is approximately 696 billion, it would normally take about 21,917 years to search manually without tools. However, let’s assume that through sheer ability to observe and search, someone managed to discover the needle within just 6 months. While this would be an extraordinary achievement, especially if needles held the power to change our understanding of the universe, it still doesn’t mean the needle or haystack belonged to the person who found it. They merely uncovered what I had hidden, and I always knew its location. This simple acknowledgment of the one who originally placed the needle diminishes the recognition of the hard work others put into finding it. But if you convince people the haystack is accidental without an origin and nobody had the intention to hide it but it was found because of the hard work and the intelligence of those who took part in finding it, then automatically the individual who found the needle and organizations funded to investigate the haystack for more needles will become the experts of the field and they control every narrative regarding it. In the same way, I believe that acknowledging God can have a similar impact on scientists and the work they dedicate their lives to. Understandably, this can provoke frustration in those without a religious background, leading some to overlook or reject any fact that might point toward a creator. I beleive God holds all knowledge of the cosmos, and acknowledging Him humbles even the most accomplished experts. God made these truths difficult to discover because understanding them isn’t our primary purpose. Humanity’s insatiable lust for knowledge, as history has shown, will ultimately lead to its downfall. ConclusionIt's unfortunate how the modern scientific community remains ignorant of the profound impact spirituality had on the very knowledge they so love and cherish today. They refuse to entertain the idea, convinced they hold the intellectual high ground, fearing that engaging in anything supernatural would ruin their reputation. This mindset is often found among those who know very little or completely ignorant of the history of science itself. Modern science has shifted from what it once was for many of its ancient patriarchs—a means to understand the work of the divine—to a tool that mankind utilizes to gain fame, money, and glory for himself, from the government and from the people. Beyond that, it saddens me that science has become a powerful tool used by many to turn people away from God. I understand that if the scientific community were to acknowledge the idea of God, it would divert almost all attention from individuals and institutions, not to mention the funding. People would become more interested in the Holy Scripture than in reading a man's theory about our universe and the cosmos. After all, why should I listen to someone explaining what Orion’s Belt is when I know the One who can loosen it? As mentioned above, spirituality laid the foundation of science, bringing forth brilliant individuals who shaped our understanding of the universe. Although I am not pleased that mankind is contacting these spirits for scientific revelation, I believe acknowledging their influence presents an opportunity to open up discussions on the topic. People would be more willing to engage if the existence of these spirits were recognized. As a saying I once read online stated, "There’s something liberating about fighting an obvious enemy as opposed to one you have to prove exists." These spirits, I believe, take far more in return for the small knowledge they share with mankind.
